I know this collection has been out for a bit now, but its new to me! I just received it thanx to Urban Decay and I am IN LOVE!!! Im not going to lie Im not familiar with Jean Michel Basquait's art, but this makeup line is amazing. All the products are inspired by the late artists work, and everything works together beautifully. I think the Gallery Blush Palette should be a permanent item! Check out the video below for a little review, swatches, and tutorial using all the products!
Have you guys seen The Pirate Shirt episode from Seinfeld? No? Am I too old? Regardless, the pirate shirt (otherwise known as the peasant top) is totally back! I am obsessed with this off the shoulder style, which adds some femininity to the somewhat avant garde style these blouses usually come in. They are also loose and flowly which is perfect for the warm weather approaching! Hover over product items in list below for links for all outfit details below!

Every November the European hockey leagues have a break, and we all scatter Europe in search of a relaxing vacation. With two little ones under 3, however, it is far from relaxing. But it is still beautiful and memorable. This year we decided to go to Barcelona Spain. It quickly became my favourite city in Europe. I have been to Paris, London, Vienna, Rome, and more, and this by far beats them all. The architecture is beyond compare, the food is amazing, and the sites are aplenty. Whether you want to sightsee or party, there is something for everyone. Even though we went in November, the weather was still nice enough for shorts and t shirts, and even some swimming. Although it was a bit cold for me to swim at 20 degrees celcius, there were still plenty of people in the water.
For accomodations we stayed in the amazing Gran Hotel Havana, and I couldnt recommend it more. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the bathrooms are large and gorgeous with complete marble finishings. The hotel is extremely modern but maintains a spanish charm. The price is also very affordable for a family of 4. It is located in Las Ramblas which is right in the heart of downtown and a walking distance to the first stop of the Hop on Hop off tour, luxury shopping, and delicious restaurants. We took the hop on hop off for 2 days, and there was just so much to see that it was a bit long. Barcelona is extremely large, and the sights are quite spread out, which makes the tour very long and drawn out compared to cities like Rome. However I would still do it again as it makes transportation throughout the city cheaper and more pleasant.
I wish I could tell you some of the restaurants we went to, but we mostly had room service for dinner. With littles its hard to keep them awake and behaved for dinners on vacation. However, we ate at some great spots for lunch including Tapa Tapa at the main marina in Barcelona. The mojitos and sangria in Barcelona were to die for, and I always made sure to have potatoes "Bravas" at each spot. Which is basically french fries, mayo, and hot sauce!
If theres one thing I can advise, it is to buy tickets to La Sagrada Familia as far in advance as possible. Entrance was sold out days in advance so we were only able to see the outside which was very disappointing. The same thing happened with Park Guell, I was unaware there was a line, or gate, or entrance fees, as in the past it was a free, open park. We got there at 3 o'clock and we weren't able to gain access until 5 o'clock, so had to pass on it due to the kids being tired. I was extremely upset about missing that, because it was one of the main sights I wanted to check out.
All in all it was an amazing trip and I loved every minute. If you want to check out more of our trip, click the link to my YouTube channel above and check out my Barcelona Vlog. Make sure to subscribe while you are there!
