It is not often that a brand creates an iconic product that stands the test of time, and popularity amongst growing generations like the Lancôme Juicy Tubes, so I couldnt be more excited to try the new generation of Lancôme Juicy products with the launch of the new Juicy Shakers!
These gorgeous little Martini shakers pack a huge punch and new twist to lip colour, while still maintaining what made the original Juicy Tubes so timeless. They smell absolutely divine and juicy, and add the most subtle gorgeous hint of colour to the lips. From left to right, I have the shades Berry in Love, Boom Meringue, and Apricute. If the names of the shades say anything, you will know exactly what each one smells like. They are so good you want to eat them! The lip colour is a blend of oil and pigment, so you shake the product up like a martini, to mix the colour. I love this idea because it creates such a light gloss that doesn't feel heavy or thick on the lips, but has the same burst of colour as a thicker, sticky gloss. The best of both worlds!
If you are a follower of mine you will know I ALWAYS wear false eyelashes. This is because I have very short, sparse lashes, that are damaged from the continuous wear of falsies. But I am how happy to say I have found my holy grail mascara. This mascara is the blackest black on the market, and thickens your lashes without creating clumps. You can apply layer upon layer, and don't have to worry about losing any speration between your lashes and having them clump up like most mascaras do. I wish I had longer lashes to be able to showcase to you how amazing this mascara is, but because I can now stop wearing falsies everyday, and use this mascara, Im sure my lashes will regain their strength and grow back to their former glory!
One of the main reasons you sadly can't see the full impact of the mascara above, is because I just had to wear a dramatic cat eye, using the amazing Lancôme Liner Plume in Noir. This is the blackest most opaque liner you can buy in felt tip form. Most felt tip liners allow the shadow beneath to seep through the liner throughout the day, creating an almost grey liner, but not this liner. This has the finish of a gel liner but in the easy to apply, user friendly formulation of a felt tip pen. The tip is perfectly pointed to get between your lashes and right into your inner corner.
The rest of my face is also done using all Lancôme products! My blush is the fantastic Cushion Blush Subtile, and if you know me, you know I love cream blush more than anything! And the shadows are from the extremely versitile Audacity in Paris neutral palette. For more info on these other products check out my youtube video where I create this smoked out cat eye with pop of Apricot on the cheeks and lips! You can also find all these products available at lancome.ca, sephora.ca, and The Bay!
