Valentines Day Date Eyes

Today's Valentines Day! Yay! Well, actually its not, but for me it is! We don't have a babysitter, and our family are miiiiiiles away, so baby joined us on our date this year. Heres the makeup I wore, its quite dramatic with the vavavoom eyelashes, but I needed an excuse to do a glam look, and Valentines was it! This look was created using the Kat Von D Spellbinding Palette, the Naked3 Palette, and NYX Loose Pearl Eyeshadow.

1. Apply NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk as a Base
2. Using a blending brush apply Limit from the Naked3 to the upper crease, and Stupid Autocorrect from Kat Von D's Spellbinding Palette on top.
3. With your crease brush use Wonderland from the Spellbinding palette directly into the crease
4. With the same crease brush apply Blackheart from the Naked3 into the outter corner
5. Also with a crease brush apply Stupid Autocorrect into the inner corner
6. Grab your all over shader brush and apply Instaglam from the Spellbinding Palette on the centre of your lid
7. Apply NYX Loose Pearl Eyeshadow in Mink directly on top of Instaglam
8. With a crease brush apply Limit to the lower outer lid, and apply Mink in the inner lid and blend together in the centre.
9. Apply a white pearl shadow in the inner corner and then your favourite black eyeliner on the top lid
10. Finish with mascara and House of Lashes Falsies in Pixie Luxe

Naked3: Subtle Frost

Hey guys! I really suck at posting frequently eh? Shame on me!! Anyways tonight is Super Bowl Sunday and the husband is at a party and I am here with the young one, so I had all the time in the world to do this look using the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette. Its a subtle eye enlarging frosted look with darkened corners on the inner and outer eye. Hope you enjoy!

P.S. Im transitioning to blonde so please don't judge my tiger striped hair!

1. My Base/Primer is MAC Paint Pot in Painterly
2. Apply Limit to the upper crease for transition with a blending brush
3. Apply Nooner into the crease with a crease brush, and onto your lower lids with the same brush
4. Using a crease brush again, apply Darkside into the outer corner, as well as your lower lids outer corner
5. Grab that same old crease brush and apply Mugshot into the inner corner stopping at your tear duct
6. With a packing all over shadow brush apply Dust to the centre of the eye lid and pack Strange on top and then onto the brow bone
7. Apply a frosted white into the inner corner to brighten

Dramatic Plum with Naked3

Since getting the Naked3 palette Ive been forcing myself to use it as much as I can hoping I can force myself to fall in love with it. Here's a dramatic look I came up with the other day. As you can see although I used about 5 colours here, they really run together and each shade doesn't have a definitive pop in my mind. Anyways, if you like it you like it I guess! For my review of the Naked Palette go here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7TE6D8MzcoY

1. In the upper crease as a transition colour I used Limit and then layered Nooner slightly beneath it.
2. All over my lid I applied Factory
3. In my outer V and inner crease I used Darkside
4. Lastly I applied Strange to my inner corners and brow bone
5. On my water line Im using NYX Slide on Pencil in Jet Black
6. My upper liquid liner is Stila Stay All Day Black
7. Brows were done with Makeup Forever Aqua Brow in Dark Brown
8. Blush is Coygirl by MAC
